HELP ME IDENTIFY THIS!
I purchased this poseable vintage figure at an estate sale in a huge bag of Christmas figures that belonged to a set. This seems more like Mardi Gras to me? Maybe a marionette? What do you think? Leave me a comment!
It has arms and legs that are made of wire and can be made to stand or sit.
Still has the original sticker that says Made In Japan.

Wish I knew what to tell you. It kind of reminds me of those old valentine figurines too, but I just don't know enough about it to say for sure. Good luck in your search to find out!
ReplyDeleteOh Boy! I know this one! Back in 1960 my folks bought a pair of these in our hometown department store, Lazarus (now Macy's). I still have them...a boy elf and a girl elf. Mine have blonde hair, but the same face.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say they were sold as christmas decor.
