It's Vintage Love Saturday on SouthernLadyVintage's blog. This week the theme is our choice! Since the holidays are upon us, I wanted to share these beautiful sequin ornaments I found. Very unusual, and very collectible as well.
As you can see, each triangle is a different color, beautiful from each side.
You can get a glimpse of the pink sequins used in the photo.
Just imagine how this would sparkle and shine on any holiday tree!
More information on this ornament in my Vintage Tinsel shop.
Here is a set of ornaments, an usual bronze color. One has a little boy with a baseball cap and bat, the other a little girl. They both have a star above their head. So sweet!
More information on these ornaments can be found in my VintageTinsel shop.
Here is one for pink lovers, perfect for a shabby chic tree.

Hopefully, these ornaments will give you some new ideas for holiday decorating. The ribbon and tassels may be a little faded, but the sequins will sparkle and shine for many years to come. If you don't have enough for an entire tree, hang a few from a garland or in a wreath. They are too beautiful to pass up!
Feel free to join in on this weekly blog hop! Details are on SouthernLadyVintage's blog.

are those bronzey sequined ornaments made from eggs? or 1 egg and 1 tiny gourd? i have 2 like that, made on eggs back in 1976. I pack them carefully and they still look like new. One has a tiny reindeer in it, and the other has a picture of kids sledding.
ReplyDeleteI think these are from styrofoam, not eggs. I have had ornaments from eggs before, they were covered with mica glitter though.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pick out a favorite! I love them all.

I just love those jewel-tones! What great finds.
ReplyDeleteI can remember making ornaments similar to these every year at Christmas time. I recently bought a huge bag of kits to make some... I would like to open an etsy site. But my hubby is all worked up on "paying the taxes" at the end of the year lol Happy New year :-)
