VINTAGE LOVE SATURDAY...VINTAGE SPOOLS OF THREAD

I'm joining SouthernLadyVintage blog hop again this week! The theme is vintage sewing. I recently came across a box of vintage spools of thread. These are perfect to drop in a jar for a red and green Christmas decoration. If you have several you could easily string them along with a few other decorations for a garland or wreath.

Thanks SouthernLadyVintage for the opportunity to link up! The poll is up for next week's theme so when you check out all the links, take the opportunity to vote and join in!

  1. I love the spools and you are right! They would look great in an apothecary type jar displayed or in a basket too! Thanks for joining in!

  3. How about in a bowl with some glass ornaments to reflect them? I love them!

  4. The cross-winding (or whatever it's called) of the thread on those spools catches the light, doesn't it? You could stand a candy cane in each of them, or a white candle (hide the matches though!)
